This Stippled Bowl looks a lot like coral.  It is handmade on the pottery wheel by artist Elizabeth b. Borowsky using a fine porcelain clay.  The texture is made by adding clay to the bowl and poking it hundreds of times with a needle tool. Because of the extra clay, it does have extra weight. It is an absolute beauty in person. 
It measures approx. 5.5" in diameter and 1.5" in height.
